Courtesy Melissa Adoum, The impact of safety nets used on ski slope borders is modeled with LS-DYNA. When a skier loses control and impacts safety nets, the deceleration may be lethal. The system behavior was improved and this optimization allowed us to reduce the risk of vertebra damage on the skier.
